Both sides have named strong teams for the encounter.

TIPPERARY SUPPORTERS CLUB MASCOT
Our mascot for Round 7 of the Allianz Hurling League versus Kilkenny is Jaxon Cranley from Cappawhite in West Tipp. Jaxon is aged 8 and in 1st class in Ayle National School and he plays Hurling and Football with Cappawhite GAA. His favourite position on the field is midfield. Jaxon is a season ticket holder and rarely misses a match. The hurley and sliotar never leave his hand. He has two brothers; Callum and Theo.Jaxon's favourite players are Conor Martin (unsurprisingly) and John McGrath. His being our mascot for tomorrow coincides with Conor and John’s first appearance together on a Tipp League team.
