Congratulations to the indomitable men of Upperchurch Drombane who defied the loss of two key forwards, one before the game, to win through to the All Ireland Intermediate final by defeating Danesfort of Kilkenny in an exciting game in Portlaoise yesterday. They meet Toureen of Mayo in the final after Christmas.Well done also to the senior county team on their second challenge victory, this one over Kilkenny in Templetuohy on Saturday.
