In addition, John McGrath was named Hurler of the Year and Darragh McCarthy was named Young Hurler of the Year.Of particular significance was that two of the three nominees for Young Hurler of the Year were from Tipp which points up the excellent work being done at underage in the county: it is a credit to all the people at the coalface in our clubs, squads and schools.
Coolmore's John Magnier Gifts Land to Morris Park Development In further major news John Magnier of Coolmore has gifted Tipperary GAA a 14-acre site to further develop a new training facility by enabling the expansion of their Coolmore Morris Park in Thurles for the creation of a new, "state-of-the-art Centre of Excellence", according to Tipperary Co.
