The Munster Council have confirmed there will be no public sale of tickets for next month’s Round 1 senior hurling championship fixtures in Ennis and Waterford.

Tickets for seven of the 10 round-robin games will go on sale on the official GAA website and through participating Centra and SuperValu shops at 10am on Wednesday week, March 27.

However, tickets to the Clare v Limerick game in Cusack Park on April 21 as well as the Waterford v Cork clash in Walsh Park that afternoon will be distributed via the relevant county boards. The same will apply for the Waterford-Tipperary game on May 4.

Both opening games are set to be sold out and adult stand tickets are expected to rise by possibly €5. Speaking to the Irish Examiner last week, provincial council CEO Kieran Leddy indicated prices for the matches will increase.

Tickets for the Cork-Limerick and Waterford-Tipperary Munster senior football quarter-finals on April 7 are available now with adult stand tickets at SuperValu Páirc Ui Chaoimh and Fraher Field costing €15.
