Tipperary G.A.A. Yearbook 2014

The Tipperary G.A.A. Yearbook 2014 will be on sale across the county this coming weekend.

Containing 216 pages it is an outstanding record of the G.A.A. in the county over the past twelve months.

As well as giving an account of the teams that represented the county in the inter-county hurling and football

championships, it will also inform the reader on the outcome of all the county championships.

Pride of place this year goes to the magnificent achievements of Loughmore-Castleiney, who created history

when winning the county senior hurling and football championships in the same year, a feat never before achieved.

As a tribute to this historic achievement the cover of the book features the captains of both teams, Ciaran McGrath

and Derek Bourke, as well as the captain of the Tipperary All-Ireland Intermediate team, David Young.

The book also includes the usual reports on divisional affairs, scór, camogie, handball, ladies football and Bord na nÓg.

There’s a full results section, all the teams that turned out for the county during the year and a large section on the

Friends we Lost during 2013.  There’s also a selection of special features.

There are hundreds of pictures and the whole production makes the book a must for all supporters of the G.A.A. in the county.

As has been the case for a good number of years the book retails for €10.
