The Hurling All-Ireland semi-final experience just got better

Sport is all about experiences and now the GAA has ensured your All-Ireland Hurling semi-final experience is one to remember thanks to the roll out of the new Croke Park match-day entertainment.

The addition of a special Fanzone (at the entrance of the GAA museum on the Cusack Stand side of the stadium) has brought a new dimension to the Croke Park experience. Already over 3,500 fans have had their pictures taken with the Sam Maguire and Liam McCarthy cups in the Fanzone giving them the perfect memento to remember their day at HQ by.

Once inside, the Croke Park experience really kicks off with Hector Ó hEochagáin acting as MC for the day in his usual inimitable way. Hector will be engaging in live pitch-side interviews before the game and at half-time with well-known GAA personalities and a supporter from each team plucked from the crowd. Who knows – your views on the big game could be broadcast to a crowd of 80,000 on the stadium’s two big screens. Your 15 minutes of fame – and Hector – await you!

If you don’t get picked for your punditry never mind – you could still be the lucky spectator chosen as the ‘Face in the Crowd’ with a fantastic prize on offer. Our roving cameraman will choose one lucky winner at each semi-final match during the half-time interval.

To top it all off there’s on-pitch entertainment at half-time to make sure every minute of your visit to Croke Park is catered for. And we haven’t even taken into consideration the great sporting spectacle you’ll witness yet!

Tickets for this great day’s entertainment are available at www.gaa.ie, select Centra and Supervalu outlets, Ticketmaster and www.tickets.ie. Prices range from €40 (Stand), €25 (Hill 16) and just €5 for children. Discounts are also available for students and senior citizens for the Cusack Stand with terms and conditions applying.

A special offer of just €10 is available exclusively to GAA club members and is activated when a minimum of 15 or a maximum of 50 club members request their tickets by email through their club secretary. (The email must come from the official GAA club secretary email address.)

This special package rewards club members and encourages them to get together and follow their county team while soaking up the atmosphere together in one of the world’s greatest sporting arenas.
