The Munster minor hurling semi-final between Tipperary and Clare will take place at Semple Stadium on Friday June 24 at 7.30pm. Tipperary and Clare have met on 40 occasions in Minor Championship hurling. The Premier county leads the way with 31 wins, the Banner was victorious on 6 occasions and there have been 3 draws. Their last encounter was in last year’s Munster championship at Cusack Park Ennis when Clare won by 0-17 to 1-13. Their last semi-final meeting was in 2008 at Semple Stadium when Tipp won by 2-12 to 1-10.
