Salthill Knocknacarra GAA club in Galway will be hosts to the Liam MacCarthy Cup at the Salthill Hotel next Monday evening, March 14 at 8pm.  Former Tipperary coach, Eamon O’Shea and his family are actively involved with Salthill Knocknacarra. In addition to Eamon O’Shea, other guests on the night will include former Tipperary manager, Liam Sheedy and 2010 Player of the Year, Lar Corbett. There will be a Q&A session with Liam, Eamon and Lar open to all attendees. All are welcome and for Tipperary supporters living in or near Galway city, Tipperary Supporters Club membership for 2011 will on sale at just €30. Each member gets a DVD of last year’s All Ireland senior and under 21 finals as well as a car sticker and entry in a members’ draw for match tickets.

 The Liam McCarthy Cup will be hosted by Naomh Jude GAA club in Templeogue, Dublin this Thursday at 8pm where Liam Sheedy, Richard Stakelum, Eddie Brennan and Richie Hogan will be interviewed by club members Martin Breheny and Brian Carthy.  Audience questions will be welcome and this Celebration of Hurling night will be rounded off with music from Pio McCarthy and friends.  Tickets (€15, €10 for students) can be booked with Denis Ryan 086 2470026 or will be available on the night on a first come, first served basis.  Membership of the Tipperary Supporters Club will also be available on the night.
