'The Legends' - from Tipperary's 3-in-a-row All-Ireland hurling winning team 1949/50/51;
Mayo's winning footballers of 1950/51 and the Irish Rugby Triple Crown/Grand Slam team
of 1949-1951:

Taken at the ' Legends Night' , organised by the Tipperary Supporters Club in Dublin 's
Burlington Hotel 10 th February 2007 , on eve of historic Ireland v France rugby game at
Croke Park .

on the breakthrough team (whose Grand Slam win has yet to be matched by an Irish rugby team)


3 more of the 1949/50/51 heroes - Tony Reddan (Lorrha) chosen as goalkeeper on the
GAA's 'Millenium' team; Mick Ryan (Roscrea )  chosen as centre-forward on Tipp's 'Century' 
team in good company here with  John Everard (Moyne).
