Well done to the Tipperary senior hurlers on their victory over Waterford by 1-20 to 0-18 in the Allianz Hurling League at Semple Stadium on Saturday night. Tipperary still have a chance to qualify for the Allianz hurling league final but it will require victory in the remaining 4 games against Offaly, Cork. Tipperary’s next game is against Offaly at MacDonagh Park, Nenagh at 2.30pm on Sunday next, March 13. There have been 39 league meetings between Tipperary and Offaly. The Premier county leads the way with 31 wins to the Faithful’s 6 and there have been 2 draws. Tipperary have won the last 3 games between the counties while Offaly’s last win was at Birr on February 22 2004 on a scoreline of 1-15 to 0-17. Their last league game at Nenagh was on February 23, 2003 when Tipperary won by 4-14 to 1-8. Please note that car parking will not be available in the MacDonagh Park grounds on Sunday so supporters are asked to come in plenty of time to park and walk to the grounds. There will be no charge for parking in car parks in the town centre on Sunday.
