Torpey to Give Santa Tips at GAA Museum Christmas Family Day

If all you want for Christmas is a new Hurley, make your way along to the GAA Museum on Sunday 7th December as expert Hurley maker John Torpey is set to give Santa himself some tips on how to produce the perfect Hurley. Torpey will be sharing his knowledge as part of the Museum’s Christmas Family Fun Day, a day of festive fun to get everyone into the Christmas spirit. Expect GAA themed carol singers, themed face painting and special family tours of the stadium, among a host of other activities. At the Art Station, young GAA fans will get help preparing special letters for Santa and the GAA Museum Santa Post Office has guaranteed an early delivery to the man himself. Despite wearing red and white, Santa claims he has no special allegiance to any one GAA team. He will make a special appearance on the day and will greet young GAA fans between 1.30pm and 2.30pm following his Hurley making demo with John Torpey. With special "Tall Tale" tours of the stadium, the Armagh Rhymers entertaining with fairy tales and mince pies and hot chocolate to keep you warm, the GAA Museum Christmas Family day is the ideal way to start of your Christmas season.
