Kilkenny defeated Tipperary by 3-17 to 1-14 in the All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championship Semi-Final at Croke Park.
Kilkenny led by 2-6 to 0-8 at the interval and took control early in the second half. Despite a late goal by Tipperary substitute Kieran Morris, the result was never in doubt as Kilkenny ran out deserving winners. Kilkenny now play the winners of the Cork v Galway Semi-Final in the All-Ireland Final.
