Tipperary Mascot Vs Laois

COLM HAYDE HAD A GREAT DAY AS THE TIPPERARY MASCOT AT SUNDAY’S NHL GAME AGAINST LAOIS

Colm Hayde of Mayfield, Cashel was the mascot for the Tipperary Senior Hurling Team at Sunday’s National Hurling League Division 1B match against Laois in Leahy Park, Cashel. Colm, aged 9, was the lucky winner of this great prize which was drawn from Junior Members of the Tipperary Supporters Club. John goes to school in St Thomas’ National School, Rosegreen and plays hurling with the Rosegreen club. His favourite player is Eoin Kelly and he met with Eoin at half time  (see photo in team dugout). The prize, with thanks to Tipp FM, also included:

-Colm being part of the Tipperary Team photo on the pitch before the match

-Colm being part of the photo with Conor O’Mahony, Tipperary captain and the referee at the toss of the coin

-free admission to the match for Colm and his family

-special announcement by stadium announcer

-special guest of the Tipp FM team covering the match.  Colm was interviewed by Tipp FM’s Paddy Finucane and was presented with a lovely Easter Egg by the Tipp FM Head of Sport, Ian O’Connor.
