The Tipperary v Limerick All Ireland hurling semi-final will take place in Croke Park at 3.30pm on Sunday August 16th. It will be the first time that Tipperary and Limerick will play a senior championship game outside of a Munster venue. The last competitive meeting of Tipperary and Limerick at Croke Park took place on April 25th 1971. The Shannonsiders won a tremendous League play off game, by 2-15 to 1-15 and subsequently beat Tipp by a point in the Final, at Cork, on May 23rd.

TICKET PACKAGES FOR ALL IRELAND Q/FINALS & S/FINALS

A new club group pass has been introduced for 2009 by the GAA. It is available for the one remaining All-Ireland senior football Quarter Final or the 4 Semi Finals in senior hurling and football. The main details are: €10 per person; Available to GAA Clubs only; Minimum purchase of 15; Seats in Davin Stand (Canal End) in Croke Park; Application forms available on www.tickets.gaa.ie .

There is also a group pass for juveniles which is available to all GAA clubs for all Croke Park fixtures (bar the All-Ireland Finals) and selected GAA Championship fixtures. The main details are €3 per juvenile (16 or under); 1 adult free for every 10 juveniles; Additional adults at stand face value; Seats in Davin Stand (Canal End) in Croke Park; Application forms available on www.tickets.gaa.ie
