Tipperary will play Cork in the Munster Senior and Intermediate Hurling Championship semi-finals on Sunday week, June 8th. The Intermediate game will begin at 12:15pm while the Senior match is scheduled to throw-in at 2:15pm.


The ticket prices for all of the Munster Senior Hurling Championship Games (except the Munster final) are as follows – Covered Stand (€30), Uncovered Stand (€25), Terrace (€20). For the Munster Senior Hurling Final, 5 euro will be added to the stand and terrace prices listed above. For the Tipperary vs. Cork match on June 8th, admission to the Covered and Uncovered Stand and both terraces is by ticket only – no cash will be accepted at the stile. OAP’s will get a €10 refund on stand tickets at a specific stile. Family tickets are also available at €30 and €25 for adults and €5 for each accompanying juvenile and can be reserved through the Clubs / Divisions.

Tipperary Supporters will be located in the City End Terrace as usual and there will be Student concessions for the terraces of 5 euro (15 euro admission fee for students).

Tickets will be sold to the public in the four divisions pending availabilty at that point on Friday June 6th from 2:00pm to 5:00pm. Confirmation of the details will be broadcast on local radio and also on the Tipperary GAA web site.


Tipperary have played Cork in the Senior Hurling Championship on 77 occasions. Cork currently lead with 36 victories while Tipperary have won 33 times. There have been 7 draws with 1 match abandoned. The last Championship meeting between the counties resulted in a victory for Tipperary in the 2007 Qualifiers on a scoreline of 2-16 to 1-18. Just eight of the Tipperary team which started that match were in the line-up for the recent National Hurling League Final victory over Galway with Brendan Cummins, Paul Curran, Conor O’Brien, Shane McGrath, James Woodlock, Ryan O’Dwyer and Eoin Kelly the players who missed out in last July’s victory.
