Well done to all concerned with the Tipperary Senior and Intermediate Hurlers who both qualified for their respective Munster Finals on Sunday last with two excellent displays against Cork. Well done also to the Tipperary Primary Games teams who represented Tipperary very well in Páirc Uí Chaoimh.   Also last Sunday the two Tipperary Supporters Club mascots from earlier this year, John O’Connor (Portroe) and Colm Hayde (Rosegreen) had their photographs and comments on the game printed in the match programme.

The Munster Senior Hurling Championship Final will take place on Sunday, July 13th while the Munster Intermediate Hurling Championship Final is fixed for Wednesday, July 23rd. Tipperary’s opponents in both finals will be decided on June 22nd in Semple Stadium Thurles as Limerick play Clare at both Senior and Intermediate grades. Tipperary have now qualified for four Munster Finals thus far in 2008 as the Under 21 and Minor Footballers have led the way with the Under 21 and Minor Hurlers both looking forward to home advantage in their Munster Semi-Finals clashes in a few weeks time. In Under 21 Hurling, Tipperary will play Limerick at Semple Stadium on July 16th while in Minor Hurling, the Premier County take on Clare at Semple Stadium on June 25th.
