Hard luck to Tipperary’s minor hurlers on their defeat to Waterford in the Munster Final on Sunday last. Although most people expected a Tipperary win, there can be no argument that Waterford were deserving winners. Tipperay are still in the championship and will still see themselves as having a good chance in the All Ireland series. Their next opponents will be Wexford. This game will be played on either Saturday July 25th or Sunday July 26th with the time and venue to be fixed next Monday. Antrim and Galway play in the other quarter final while Waterford and Leinster champions Kilkenny go directly to the semi-finals.
