MICHAEL HOGAN MEMORIAL WEEKEND

On of the key events of the GAA’s 125 celebrations will be the Michael Hogan Memorial Weekend which will take place in Grangemockler on May 16th and 17th. Events commence on Saturday evening with a memorial Mass at 7pm followed by a wreath laying ceremony at 7.45pm and a Michael Hogan Historical Talk at 8.15pm. On Sunday, there will be a senior football challenge game between Dublin and Kerry at 4.30pm. It will be followed by the unveiling of a memorial plaque by Christy Cooney, Uachtarán Cumann Lúthchleas Gael at 6pm and a senior hurling challenge game between Tipperary and Kilkenny at 6.30pm. The weekend will be rounded off in great style with a community barbeque at 9pm.
