Following Tipperary’s qualification for the Munster Senior Hurling Final, there has been quite a buzz around the county – in particular from younger people as they look to the current crop of players to bring success back to the Premier County. To allow some of the younger generation to meet with the current crop of Tipperary players, there will be a special event held at Semple Stadium on Tuesday evening July 1st. The Tipperary Senior Hurlers will train as normal in Semple Stadium that evening and afterwards, the players will be available to meet with the young supporters of the county and to sign autographs as required. Training is expected to finish at 8:30pm and all are welcome to come along to Semple Stadium that evening for an opportunity to meet with the players ahead of the Munster Final on July 13th. More details will be included in next weeks GAA Scene column and on the Tipperary GAA web site. This event will be organised by the Youth Committee of the Tipperary County Board in conjunction with the Tipperary Supporters Club Junior Membership initiative.
