This week’s hurling tip
This week’s hurling tip comes from Daragh Egan (Kiladangan); go raibh maith agat, Daragh.  Daragh has played a big part in Tipp’s high scoring forward performance in this year’s Championship.  Daragh says:

"Thank you for becoming a Junior Member of the Tipperary
Supporters’ Club.  All the players really appreciate your support as it
helps us along the road to the All-Ireland. Please
encourage your friends to log on to www.tippsupportersclub.com also.

First of all this is a section on useful Tips & Advice:

* Try and puck around for at least an hour a day, especially on days when
there is no training.

*Always be competitive and do your very best in every game that your play.

*Keep encouraging your team-mates especially when they make a mistake and
always remember what happens on a field must stay on the field.

On the Skills:

*From a forwards point of view get used to putting the ball over the
bar.  Practice from 20 nyards out in front of the goals striking off right and
left and work your way out the field to more difficult positions.

*Give 20 minutes a day to practicing dead ball situations:

*With the art of free-taking, fet into a comfortable routine and stick to
it.  Eoin kelly never changes his way of taking a free and never misses.

*With sidelines its all about practice, Eamonn Corcoran spends 20 minutes at
every training practicing lineballs and never hits one less than 60
yards.  Finally keep working on the skills and you will see the benefits.
