Hurling joint-captains set to be London guests of honour

London Tipperary Association
(Founded 1952)

Tipperary’s senior hurling joint-captains are set to be feted in London at the end of next month. Following a season of real progress for the county’s hurlers that saw the Premier County win the National League and their first Munster title since 2001, Loughmore’s Paul Ormond and Mullinhaone’s Eoin Kelly will represent the team when they are the guests of honour at this year’s annual London Tipperary Association Dinner-Dance on Saturday October 25th.
Both players will also be accompanied by the two trophies at the function in the Crown Moran Hotel in Cricklewood Broadway.

Following last year’s tremendously enjoyable event in the hotel’s basement function room, another exciting evening is planned with many other visitors from Tipperary also expecting to attend including Tipperary GAA luminaries Nicky English, Tommy Barrett and Sean Fogarty and hopefully Tipperary’s successful hurling manager Liam Sheedy has also been invited as have a number of other Tipperary sports personalities including Niall Quinn and Shane Long from the world of soccer and Ireland Rugby World Cup and Munster Heineken Cup star Denis Leamy.

Music and entertainment will be provided by The Barry Owen Band.
