ENIOR HURLING TOURNAMENT VS LIMERICK

SENIOR HURLING TOURNAMENT VS LIMERICK

Sunday evening next the 11th of May will be an important date in any Tipperary Senior Hurling supporters diary as the 2008 league champions play close neighbours and 2007 All Ireland finalists Limerick in a tournament game in Dundrum which will mark the official  blessing and opening of the New Stand and upgraded facilities at Pairc Ciocam. Since 2001, Knockavilla / Donaskeigh Kickhams GAA club recognising the need to improve facilities, have carried out an ambitious development programme at their ground, including the provision of a new field, new Dressing rooms , security fencing, boundary wall, Double hurling wall, Electronic scoreboard and the aforementioned Covered Stand. This game is part of the clubs ongoing fundraising drive to offset the necessary debt accrued during this work. Given the nearness of the opening Munster championship games for both Counties this is sure to be a great contest. With an evening throw-in of 7:00pm, a large crowd is expected. The admission cost will be 10 euro for adults and 5 euro for student and OAP’s.
