Tipperary star Seamus Callinan scored 3-2 before being taken off after
26 minutes as Limerick IT controlled this lopsided encounter to set up a mouthwatering repeat of last season’s final against Waterford IT in Limerick next week.

Having used their five substitutes shortly after the restart LIT finished with 14 players when Gavin O’Mahoney retired injured 12 minutes from time.

LIT led 5-8 to 0-1 at the break and when Blane Earley had four points in succession within eight minutes of the restart, three from frees, the game petered out.
